Both tools put AI in front of a real browser, but they hand you different things. Momentic is a test-automation product: you write steps in plain English and it runs and maintains them. Sybqa is a checking service: you paste a link, review a plan and get an evidence report. If you want a regression suite your team owns, Momentic is built for that. If you want to know what is broken on a site you just built, without writing tests, Sybqa is the lighter option.

Point
Sybqa
Momentic
Core job
Checks a site you point it at and reports evidence of what broke
Author, run and maintain automated tests written in plain English
Where you start
A link and an optional goal. You review the plan before anything runs
Tests you create from natural-language steps and AI actions
What you get back
An evidence report (HTML, JSON and JUnit) with screenshots and steps to reproduce; blocked and not-run checks are listed, never counted as passed
A test suite that runs in the product, with results, failure classification and triage features
Public pricing
A free plan after sign-up (10 runs a month, no AI review) and a paid plan with AI credits
Free: 2,000 credits a month. Pay-as-you-go: $125 a month including 10,000 credits. Enterprise: custom
How usage is counted
Deterministic checks use no AI credits; AI checks draw down the plan’s credits
One credit per normal step, two for a step generated by AI or by failure recovery, one per minute of hosted browser
Pipelines
The GitHub Action and API tokens start a saved plan from a pipeline (guide)
GitHub and GitLab integrations, Slack, flaky-test quarantine rules and MCP access
Mobile
Phone-sized browser viewports only; no native app testing
Hosted Android emulators and iOS simulators, priced per minute
Which one to choose
Choose Momentic if
You want a regression suite that runs on every deploy and that your team curates over time.
You need native mobile app testing, which Sybqa does not do.
You want AI to maintain tests as the UI changes, and you have someone who will review and own the tests.
Choose Sybqa if
You have no test suite and want a first independent read on a site, especially one built with an AI tool.
You want a report you can hand to a client or a developer, with steps to reproduce.
You would rather review one plan and read one report than author and maintain tests.
They are not exclusive. A team can use Sybqa to check a site before sharing it and keep Momentic for long-lived regression coverage.
What this comparison does not claim
Common questions
Is Sybqa a replacement for Momentic?
Not directly. Momentic is for authoring and maintaining a test suite. Sybqa checks a site you point it at and reports evidence, so it can stand in for a first check but not for a long-lived suite your team owns.
Does Sybqa write tests I can keep?
No. Sybqa runs a plan you review and returns a report. You can save the plan and re-run it from the console, the command line, a GitHub Actions workflow or the API, but it does not produce a test suite in your own repository.
Which is cheaper?
The two meter usage differently, so there is no single answer. Momentic charges credits per step and per browser minute; Sybqa includes 10 runs a month without AI review on its free plan and meters AI review in credits on the paid plan. Compare using one of your real flows.
